CLC's Early American logs are all graded and certified, carrying with them the Log Homes Council Grading Certification, which is a third party verification of the structural integrity of the log timbers.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
The Kuhns and their employees go to great lengths to produce each Country Log Cabin with the kind of quality they can be proud of—the kind of home they would live in. In order to achieve this enduring, generational quality, all Country Log Cabin wood is graded by certified inspectors and maintained under cover, sheltered from weather, vandalism and theft. The logs are then kiln-dried to an average of less than 19% moisture (even less for CLC's Strata Log), as recommended by independent forestry experts, in order to produce the most stable and trouble free material. This process produces logs with the following benefits:

The exclusive delivery DVD guides the customer in preparation for every aspect of the materials delivery, from the turning radius and distance guidelines for the trucks, to the recommended methods of unloading and accurately examining inventory. A complete hands-on, step-by-step construction DVD provides visual guides and instructions for self building customers as well as builders. For hands on instruction, CLC conducts builder workshops at the corporate headquarters in central Pennsylvania.
